Home Staging in Atlanta
Posted on | April 23, 2009 |
As a professional home stager serving metro Atlanta, I enter each new project as an opportunity; whether it’s a vacant or occupied, it doesn’t matter.
What does matter is understanding what specific features the home has to offer. My objective as a home stager is to ensure I draw the buyers’ eye to those features. Using too many furniture pieces and accessory items can actually distract the buyer which is a complete no-no. Too few and I stand the chance to waste a great opportunity to highlight, for the buyers, the true assets of the home.
The wheels go in motion from the very first visit. First, I’ll tour the home and get a sense of the style of the home. Next, I’ll ask a series of questions to either the agent and/or the homeowner. Questions, such as the demographics of the buyer, are important as it helps to shape the design plan for the home. Knowing if the buyers’ will tend to be young or old matters when staging a home.
Here’s a home staging project I recently completed in Atlanta:

In this picture above, you can see what the room looked like prior to being staged.

Home Staging Atlanta
Here’s what the room looks like after we staged the home. By design, the furniture, artwork, accessories used all flow together bringing and bring a cohesive look and feel to the home.
Our objective at HomeStagingAtlanta.com mirrors that of the seller - to have the home sell more quickly. In this tough market, it’s important your home stands-out from the others on the market.

Kathy: Your photos perfectly demonstrate your point. The room in the first photo looks blah. In the second photo the staging helps create a dynamic mood that invites buyers to stay a while and enjoy.
